Sector Attraction Survey and Prize Winner
Two graduates from Dalhousie University’s Master of Public Administration program, Alec Brooks and Payton Nicol, recently partnered with faculty member Dominika Wranik to conduct a student survey exploring the key factors shaping Gen Z’s preferences for careers in different sectors. To thank participants, students who completed the survey were entered into a draw for a monetary prize.
Emma Robertson, a 2025 Sociology graduate and the prize winner, shared her thoughts on the experience:
“As advertised, the survey was quick, thoughtful, and made me reflect on how I want to contribute to society through my work! As a sociology student, I really appreciate research that highlights the importance of public policy, governance, and infrastructure.”
Thanks to all who participated in this study!
