We are seeking a highly motivated graduate student from Dalhousie University with experience in public policies research to join our team as a Graduate Research Assistant. The successful candidate will work on a research project related to public policies, under the guidance of a faculty advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting literature reviews and data analysis
- Assisting in the design and implementation of research projects
- Communicating research findings through written reports and presentations
- Participating in meetings and workshops related to the research project
- Assisting in the preparation of grant proposals
- Helping in the supervision of undergraduate research assistants
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program at Dalhousie University
- Experience in research related to public policies
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interest in public policy research
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a research environment while earning a stipend.
