We are excited to share that more than 1,600 Canadian public servants participated in our research examining Public Service Motivation (PSM), resilience to change, job satisfaction, and burnout.

Public servants are driven by a desire to serve others and contribute to the public good. Following the significant workplace changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, including remote work and rapidly evolving responsibilities, this study seeks to better understand how public servants have adapted to uncertainty and change.

The outstanding response to this survey reflects the public service’s commitment to improving workplaces and strengthening public service delivery for Canadians. We sincerely thank all participants for contributing their valuable perspectives and helping advance research that will inform the future of Canada’s public sector.
