We are thrilled to announce the publication of our paper titled: “Frontiers of public service motivation research in Canada: A scoping review” in the Journal of Canadian Public Administration! Our scoping review synthesizes research on PSM in Canada, identifying 24 published studies and four works in progress.

Our findings highlight the need for further research on PSM’s impact on public service quality in Canada and how Canadian employers can nurture it, especially with recent changes in work environments. Understanding and fostering PSM is crucial for motivating public servants and enhancing service quality for Canadians.
